Annisa Morton Joins NCWorks Centralina Team as New Career Center Leader in Statesville

The Centralina Workforce Development Board and NCWorks Centralina is excited to announce Annisa Morton as the new NCWorks Career Center- Iredell Center Leader in Statesville. Annisa began work on December 3.

Annisa is a workforce professional with 11 years of service. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens University Charlotte.

Prior to joining the NCWorks Centralina leadership team, she held the position of Center Manager at the NCWorks Career Center in Charlotte on Forest Point Boulevard. She held the position of center manager for 2 years.

Annisa also worked in the NCWorks Career Center-Gaston as an Employment Consultant Supervisor for seven and half years. In this role, she supervised many of the Center’s services including Re-Employment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA), Employability Assessment Interview (EAI), and Trade Adjustment Assistance Program (TAA). Prior to joining Division of Workforce Solutions, Annisa worked in private industry, a career spanning 13 year in the distribution/logistics sector.

Her in-depth workforce development knowledge, as well as her private industry experience, are great assets to the Iredell team as we serve the needs of businesses and career seekers in the Centralina region,” said Veronica Grantham, the Regional Operations Director of the Southwest Prosperity Zone for the N.C. Dept. of Commerce Division of Workforce Solutions.
