Employers Given Hope of Finding Talent After Attending Lincoln County Job Fair

In conjunction with the Lincoln Economic Development Association (LEDA) and the Lincolnton YMCA, the NCWorks Career Center – Lincoln hosted the 4th Annual Lincoln County Job Fair on Saturday, September 14, 2019.
The event saw 25 employers who set up booths at the event. These employers were also scheduling interviews on the spot. The job fair was great for the community and employers as the Centralina WDB and NCWorks Centralina continue to build partnerships with key organizations throughout our region.
“This event was the work of multiple local organizations coming together for the community. Lincoln County has a lot to offer job seekers and employers are finding out that there is great talent here in our county,” said Anthony Simpson, NCWorks Career Center – Lincoln Center Leader and a member of the Centralina WDB.
Simpson added that an employer mentioned that the event gave them hope in finding quality candidates right there in Lincoln County.
About 150 job seekers attend the event.
